Minecraft Legends Live 2023 is starting on October 15, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) or 5:00 p.m. Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The event is expected to last for less than 1.5 hours. After the event, Mojang Studios will be hosting an afterparty on Discord.
Minecraft Live is an annual event that brings the latest updates from the ever-expanding Minecraft world. It showcases what players can look forward to in the next significant Minecraft update, shares updates on partnerships and related projects, and reveals the results of the yearly Minecraft Mob Vote. Minecraft Live 2023 had all this exciting information and was broadcasted to the global Minecraft community over the weekend.
In April, Microsoft launched Minecraft Legends,
A special version of their popular sandbox game. It was created in collaboration between Mojang Studios, the main team behind Minecraft, and Blackbird Interactive. This action-strategy game lets players follow a story campaign to rescue the Minecraft world and also play multiplayer matches online.
Minecraft Legends received a fairly average response from critics, with a score of 71 out of 100 on Metacritic. Despite this, the development team has been actively working on improving the game since its release. They’ve introduced various updates, including features like custom campaign and player-versus-player (PVP) modes, displaying controls and the user interface on the screen, adding pillars of light for waypoints, enhancing the in-game pathfinding, and even allowing players to pet animals in the game.
At today’s Minecraft Live event, exciting news was unveiled for Minecraft Legends players. Two new events called “Lost Legends” are on the horizon. The first one, “Creeper Clash,” will be available very soon, starting on October 19, and it’s set in a Halloween-themed environment. Additionally, a winter holiday event, “Snow vs Snout,” is scheduled for December.
In December, Minecraft Legends will receive further updates, including the introduction of new in-game units such as frogs, a new piglin unit, and structure. Players can also look forward to the addition of new witch allies who can throw potions at their adversaries. These fresh features promise to enhance the gameplay experience.
