San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) will perform a regional test of its public notification systems on Wednesday.
SDG&E, Between 10:30 a.m. and noon, around 1.1 million residential and business customers will get a test text message. This message will be sent from one of these numbers: 67283, 226787, 78015, or 77295.
Moreover, 300,000 specific customers in the region will receive a test phone call and a voice message from the number 1-800-411-7343, which is the primary customer care center number for the company.
This marks the second test of the electric and gas utility’s notification system this year, with the first one having been conducted on June 1st.
A new, budget-friendly Cubot Note 40 model is set to be released on October 16th
