Hi there! I’m truly sorry that this happened. Xbox Live community needs your help in reporting these kinds of players. This happened to me before wherein this random guy threaten me to hack my account or perhaps, disconnect me from from Xbox Live. I got disconnected and when I got back in, he continued to harass me. What I did was to continuously report the player until the Enforcement team suspend him. Do not worry. Just report that player and ignore them. When they told you that they got your IP, all you need to do for that is to Restart your router for 10 minutes. This will most likely that your router would pick up another IP address so they would no longer have access to it. Also, some router these days have anti-DDoS feature. You can contact your ISP (internet Service Provider) to see if they can enable it for you. And lastly, do not engage to any conversation from a stranger or click any links.
To report a player, please follow the steps below using Xbox:
1. Press the Xbox button on your Xbox One controller.
2. Press LB to arrive at the People tab.
3. Select Find someone.
4. Type the player’s Gamertag. This will open their profile.
5. Select Report or block.
6. Select Report.
7. Choose a reason for filing a report.
8. Type an additional comment, if needed.
9. Select Report to complete the process.
